To Panic or Not To Panic ?

it’s been almost 20 days since the earthquake hit Japan, and they are still counting bodies…in addition the nuclear disaster which hit the Fukushima region on the 11th of March will continue to release radioactive material in the atmosphere, soil, freshwater and seawater for months or even years.

Up to now we know almost nothing solid for the disaster, and the only information which is available to the scientists, has been gathered either by unmanned planes (drones) or by scientific models for nuclear disasters.

Earthquake & Tsunami hit Japan with uncertain consequences

Yesterday, around 14.45, a massive earthquake rocked N.Japan for a minute or so…

The Earthquake had a massive 8.9 magnitude in R scale and triggered a Tsunami wave that hit the East coast of Japan in less than a quarter of an hour…

this is a video that still gives me goosebumps

there are numerous videos that are showing the affected zone being overwhelmed by the biblical destruction force of the huge wave.

There is an official count of human loss of around 1,500 people, but unfortunately there are thousands of people missing.

In addition, there were fears yesterday – which today became reality- of dysfunctions on the Nuclear plant near the epicentre of the quake. Dysfunctions which translates into a huge explosion in the early hours of Saturday…

Now, I am really pissed off!

Some White-collared, Armani and D&G suited with silver cuff-links Macho Yuppies from London’s City together with their counterparts in the States decided to make those Greeks pay for the whole World’s Debt… thus, the Moody’s Investors service Downgraded Greek Economy to B1 from Ba1…

the catch for this downgrading is the details on what exactly the Moody’s Rating agency stands for …and to whom that may be useful.

Aris Thessaloniki Vs Manchester City

It’s been a magical night for Aris and all Aris’ Fans

and only the arrogance of Roberto Mancini‘s statement was a #fail !

Man.City, a team that costs more than 366,000,000 Euros was challenged by Aris – a team which costs only 33,000,000 and the only thing that the Italian manager said about the game was that the whole Aris team played behind the ball… and that was it, then he mentioned that he wanted more from Dzeko and Tevez and Wright-Phillips and… and…

He failed to mention the quality of Vangeli’s challenges, or the way that Prittas and Faty were keeping Tevez always in a very tight marking sandwich… Or even Neto’s magical overlap with Vangeli on the right and Sakata’s with Michel on the left. Sifakis was excellent and Mr Mancini DID mention that.

Overall, Aris was a team that played for the win, against Manchester City... that was all about!

Congrats to Aris for the “win”, because keeping the sheet clean against these players take quite an effort.

Cooking Chinese

Got the munches while watching The Italian Job on TV. so I prepared some vegetable chow mein noodles…

Used only Greek style vegetables: green and red peppers, parsley and coriander, garlic and olive oil.

stir fry the veggies... in olive oil

Added some egg noodles and chilli sauce (sweet and hot) together with a splash of light soy sauce

...and with the noodles in, you just have to do the "pirouette" with the pan!

I am drooling all over the keyboard!!!
